Alright, so this could go several ways.

1. It’s just pandering. Nothing will ever come of it.
2. Natasha and Clint will do their dance for a bit, before Clint finally decides he wants Jessica after all. Natasha will never acknowledge she’s in a relationship herself, however obliquely.
3. Since Bendis is moving off The Avengers, he’s complying to a Marvel edict to torpedo Clint/Jessica so he can go on to date Natasha, who will break it off with Bucky in Winter Soldier.

I’ll be in my room, reading Captain America & Bucky #624 and listening to Florence and the Machine.
